Where We Work
We are currently focused on empowering non-profit social Enterprises in Nigeria, with plans to expand across West Africa and the entire continent over time.
We are currently focused on empowering non-profit social Enterprises in Nigeria, with plans to expand across West Africa and the entire continent over time.
Our flagship initiative is in Enugu, Nigeria, where we are funding Ezindu Welfare Organization, a nonprofit based in Enugu State, to establish a Social Enterprise project to provide resources for a Pharmacy and a Medical Diagnostic center in Enugu town.
This project will deliver affordable healthcare while generating local revenue to sustain free food and educational outreach programs in rural communities in Enugu State. This project will also build resilience in underserved communities and transform aid into empowerment.
Ezindu Welfare Organization has already been making tangible impacts in rural communities of Nigeria, especially in Iyanomo Community in Edo State, and Awha Imezi, a community in Enugu State, funded by the modest earnings of its founder and informal donations from the founder’s friends in the United States of America. Their grassroots impact is real, measurable, and growing.
With funding from the Crossbridge Africa Foundation, Ezindu Welfare Organization is setting up a pharmaceutical sales and diagnostic service center. This Social Enterprise will generate sustainable revenue to expand healthcare access, free food distribution, improve digital education, and scale its mission across Enugu State and beyond. Every diagnostic test or pharmacy purchase directly funds free outreach, making each transaction a step toward bridging health, nutrition, and education for vulnerable communities in Nigeria.
Crossbridge aims to replicate successful social enterprise models across Africa. By empowering one nonprofit at a time, we build a continent-wide movement of self-reliance and sustainable development.
